The “AeroRigid” family of panels are lightweight, smooth surfaced honeycomb sandwich panels for aircraft interior components. The Nomex® honeycomb used for the majority of the AeroRigidTM family is "SAH", which is Showa’s own product.
AeroRigid™2223 is a sandwich panel made with facings of fiberglass cloth reinforced phenolic laminate and Nomex® honeycomb (SAH) that is designed for use in aircraft cabin interior structures such as galleys, lavatories, bulkheads, partitions, storage compartments, and crew rests. AeroRigidTM2223 provides an already smooth-surface finish to minimize flaws and allows for easy use and installation.
AeroRigid™2623 is a sandwich panel made with facings of fiberglass cloth reinforced epoxy laminate and Nomex® honeycomb (SAH) that is designed for use in commercial aircraft interior structures and non-structures such as crew rests and galley areas.
AeroRigid™291A is a sandwich panel made with aluminum facing and 3.4 lbs/ft3 aluminum honeycomb that is designed for aircraft interior structural and nonstructural applications such as monuments, shelving, partitions, bulkheads, and galleys.
AeroRigid™291B is a sandwich panel made with aluminum facing and 5.7 lbs/ft3 aluminum honeycomb that is designed for aircraft interior structural and nonstructural applications such as monuments, shelving, partitions, bulkheads, and galleys.
AeroRigid™4155 is a sandwich panel made with facing of unidirectional fiberglass reinforced epoxy laminate and Nomex® honeycomb core (SAH) that is designed for aircraft flooring use in general heavy-duty areas, and also provides good performance in cargo areas.
SFPS family of panels are lightweight yet high-strength, making them perfect for aircraft flooring. The Nomex® honeycomb panel used for the majority of the SFPS family is "SAH", which is Showa’s own product.
SFPS 42002/42003/42005 are sandwich panels made with facing of unidirectional carbon fiber reinforced epoxy laminate and Nomex® honeycomb (SAH). These panels are qualified to Boeing BMS4-20, Type II, Type III, and Type V.
